Arrest Made and Bond Set For Woman Accused of Wednesday Shooting
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Bond is set for a woman jailed in Tupelo in connection with a shooting on Lawndale Drive on Wednesday.
June 14, Tupelo Police officers were called to the 100 block of Lawndale Drive at around 10:30 PM for a reported shooting. They found that a gun had been fired at someone’s home from the outside. No injuries were reported at the scene.
A preliminary investigation found Dorothyrell Gaston a suspect, and a warrant for her arrest was issued. Gaston was arrested today, June 16, and was presented for arraignment.
Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland set Gaston’s bond at $200,000.00.
Tupelo Police say the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information should call the Tupelo Police Department or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi.
