VIDEO: Fundraiser For Area Theatre

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- There was music, dancing, food and art, as an annual fundraiser for the Tupelo Community Theatre drew a large crowd outside the Lyric Theatre.

The 14th annual “Music, Monet and Margaritas” brought a lot of people to Broadway Street. There was food from Outback Steakhouse, a silent auction of local artists’ work.

All proceeds help the Tupelo Community Theatre bring quality productions and other projects to the area.

Tupelo Community has a lot of events planned this summer, including the theatre camp,  and a production of “Shrek the Musical Junior” which takes place later this month.
