Video: Starkville Mayoral Candidates Present Platforms

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -On Monday night Starkville residents got a chance to hear from the people who want to lead the city for the next 4 years.

The Starkville – Oktibbeha Voter education Initiative and the Greater Starkville Development Partnership hosted the second in a series of Candidate forums ahead of city elections

All 3 Mayoral candidates took the stage at the Greensboro Center to take questions and lay out their plans.

Economic Development and street improvements were all hot topics.

“There are a lot of very important issues that are coming up over the next few years in Starkville. Development…quality of life….various things like that. So it is going to be great for these residents to be able to interact with the candidates.”

The final forum will be Wednesday April 19th. It will feature Aldermen Candidates from Wards 5 and 7
