Kindergarten Students Release Their First Book

WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Some Webster County kindergarten students are now published authors.

The kindergarten classes at East Webster Elementary have been studying the writing process all year.

At the beginning of the year, each student wrote and illustrated a story for their book “All About Us.”

The books have been printed and Friday the school hosted a “Meet the Authors” event where the students read their stories aloud.

Parents and other family members came to celebrate the book release.
