Oxford Shooting Suspect Officially Charged
OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – The suspect in a Thursday night shooting is officially charged.
30-year-old Ricky Mabry has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault following a shooting on the night of March 30 in a North Lamar Boulevard parking lot. Two men were injured in
that shooting, 25-year-old Joshua Flemmons of Oxford and 38-year-old Patrick Spearman of Abbeville.
Both Flemmons and Spearman were flown to a hospital in Memphis to be treated for their injuries. At last check, Flemmons was listed in critical condition; Spearman was stable.
Mabry surrendered to Holmes County deputies, where he was taken into custody for questioning.
Now that he’s officially facing charges, his bond has been set at $150,000.00.
