Video: Charles Templeton Ragtime and Jazz Festival Kicks off with Road Show

FRENCH CAMP, Miss. (WCBI) -Mississippi State University kicked off the 11th Annual Charles Templeton Ragtime and Jazz Festival Thursday, and one of the featured performers took his show on the road..

Jeff Barnhart visited area schools, introducing students to one of America’s first original musical genres – Ragtime – in a unique way, by providing a live soundtrack to a silent movie.

The festival features concerts, seminars, and tours. It runs through the weekend.
