Video: Starkville Citizens Meet Mayoral Candidates

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -With Parker Wiseman’s retirement from City politics, one thing’s for sure, Starkville will have a new mayor after this year’s election.

Monday night, the 3 people vying for that job met with city voters.

The Starkville Daily News sponsored a political forum to let people find out where the candidates stand.

Johnny Moore, Damion Poe, and Lynn Spruill are running for the city’s top slot.

They answered questions about future residential development, city infrastructure, and areas where they would like to see improvement.

With no Republican or Independent opposition, the Democratic Primary will decide the race.
