VIDEO: Dancing With The King

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- Elvis was not just a pioneer in music- he was also a dancing pioneer.

Today, at the 4th annual Dancing with the King competition- couples danced to favorite Elvis tunes.

One of those dancers being event co-chair Charlise LaTour and her partner who danced to Frankie and Johnny.

The proceeds go to fund 100 dance scholarships given to people in our area.

LaTour says the Tupelo Elvis Fan Club is their presenting sponsor and it gives over 50-thousand dollars a year back to charitable organizations in honor of Elvis.

She says one good way to participate is to buy the Elvis Car tags.
