Woman Out On Bond After Shooting Man In Face

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- One Prentiss County woman is out on bond after shooting a man in the face.

35 year old Jessica Pounds is charged with aggravated assault and domestic violence.

On March 16th deputies were called to 522 county road 4001 in Marietta to a person being shot.

When the Deputies arrived, a man was found to have been shot in the face by a firearm.

The victim was transported to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Pounds bond was 25 thousand dollars.

Pounds has made bond and her case will be presented to the Prentiss County Grand Jury next.
