Deputies Looking For Murder Suspect On The Run

LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Deputies are searching for 27 year-old Chris Demont Paten who also goes by the name Chris Caine of Oxford.

On March 9, 2017 the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to Sand Hill Drive in the Brittney Woods area to a possible shooting.

Upon arrival, the victim had been transported to Baptist Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi by personal vehicle, and then transported to Regional One Medical Center “The Med” in Memphis,Tennessee.

31 year-old Kenya Hill of Oxford later died of complications from the gunshot injuries.
