Kennedy In Search Of New Mayor After Tragic Loss

KENNEDY, Ala. (WCBI) – In small towns, the loss of any city official is felt throughout the community.

For Kennedy, Alabama, losing its mayor leaves other city personnel having to fill additional roles.

On March 20, the city council will hold a meeting to announce the vacancy of the mayoral position.

Residents will have one week to submit their names for consideration; the council will then choose the person it believes is the best fit for the position.
