Four Area Towns Ranked Among Safest In The State

(WCBI)- The National Council for Home Safety and Security releases its Top 25 Safest Cities in Mississippi and four towns in area made the list.

Oxford came in at number five, followed by West Point at number ten. Amory was number and eleven and Starkville ranked number twelve.

The group uses FBI Crime Report statistics along with population data and internal research to rank cities.

Researchers also reviewed reports of violent and property crimes.
