Video: Columbus Duplex Damaged By Fire
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus firefighters are trying to determine what sparked the blaze that heavily damaged a duplex.
This is an update to a story we first brought you on WCBI News Sunrise on Friday morning.
Firemen were called to 2412 College Street about 12:30 AM on Friday.
Thick smoke could be seen billowing from the duplex.
A Columbus Fire and Rescue spokesman says the fire may have started in a unit that did not have electricity. However, someone was living there.
No one was at either unit at the time of the fire.
