Video: South Lamar Battles To The End, But Can’t Stop Sacred Heart Three-Peat
WATCH: The South Lamar Stallions fought to the very end in Thursday’s AHSAA 1A state championship against powerhouse Sacred Heart, but ultimately came up short, losing 82-59. The Stallions made it a four point game at halftime, and out-rebounded the Cardinals, but the 2015 Class 1A Players of the Year Diante Wood was too much for South Lamar, finishing with 27 points.
The Cardinals have now won the past three 1A state championships.
