Man Dies From Friday Afternoon Crash

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- The Mississippi Highway Patrol is still investigating a two-vehicle crash in Pontotoc County that claimed the life of an Ecru man.

Troopers responded to MS 6 at the intersection of M- 345, Friday afternoon.

39-year old Robert E Fuller of Ecru, was traveling north on MS 345, when he allegedly pulled into the path of 21 year old Cornelius Cheatum, of Laurel.

Fuller received fatal injuries from the crash and died on the scene.

A teenage passenger in his vehicle was not injured.

Cheatum was not injured in the crash.
