Area Chamber Of Commerce To Keep Interim President

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The interim president of the Columbus Lowndes Chamber of Commerce is staying in that role.

It’s announced Wednesday that Lisa James will stay on after serving as interim president since last fall. She’ll be in charge of community projects and business recruitment.

The Chamber also announced the hiring of Emily McConnell as the programs and events director, James’ former position.
