Oktibbeha Chancery Clerk Special Election Dates Set

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Dates are set for the Oktibbeha County Chancery Clerk special election race.

Qualifying begins January 3rd and ends March 3rd of next year.

The primary election will be August 8th. If a runoff is needed, it will be August 29th.

Independents must sign-up by September 8th.

The general election is November 7th.

There is a one hundred dollar fee to qualify.

The election is needed to fill the seat of the late Monica Banks.

She died of an extended illness back in September.
