NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Bond is set for the man accused of killing a Noxubee County night club owner.

35 year-old Cedric Carter’s bond is $1.2 million dollars.

Justice Court Judge Timothy Gowman set the amount during an appearance Tuesday morning.

Carter is charged with murder and aggravated assault.

Andrew Quintrell Sherrod, 34, was shot outside of his business, Ca$hey’s Sports Bar and Grill.

Noxubee County Sheriff Terry Grassaree says Carter got into an argument with his girlfriend and Sherrod asked him to leave.

The men went outside the night spot and shots were fired.

Noxubee County Coroner R.L. Calhoun says it appears Sherrod was shot two times. An autopsy is being performed.

Deangelo Martin was injured in the shooting.

Bond was set at $1 million on the murder charge and $200,000 on the aggravated assault charge.
