Video: Search Continues For Verona Bank Robbery

VERONA, Miss. (WCBI) – Verona police are searching for a man wearing a wig and lip stick that robbed a bank.

Officers were called to Renasant Bank just before noon on Thursday.

Investigators say the black male suspect wore a wig and yellow lip stick.

He came into the bank with a gun and demanded money.

No injuries were reported.

The F.B.I. is on scene assisting Vernon police and Lee County deputies in the search for the bank robber.

The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous.
