Video: One City Will Be A ‘No Complaint Zone’ The Day Before Thanksgiving

TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – Residents in one Northeast Mississippi city are encouraged to go a day without complaining.

The Tupelo City Council is expected to approve a resolution naming the day before Thanksgiving as “Complaint Free Wednesday.”

The idea was hatched during a ladies Bible study based around the book, “A Complaint Free World.”

In fact,  Cecelia Palmer, wife of Councilman Buddy Palmer, brought the proposal for a complaint free Wednesday to Mayor Jason Shelton.

“We just encourage everyone to join us in this endeavor and let’s help to make our world a better place and you might go the next day without complaining, then the next day and before you know it you will be complaint free and enjoy the life God intended us to have,” Palmer said.

Each councilmember will get a copy of the book “A Complaint Free World.”
