VIDEO: Celebrity Chefs Cook For A Cause

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- Local celebrities put on chef hats this evening, to raise money for the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Mississippi.

The fourth annual “Cooking Like The Stars” meant a packed house at Park Heights Restaurant in Tupelo.

Four locals were tapped to be celebrity chefs for the event. They are given a list of ingredients to cook with and they must make an appetizer, main course and dessert for judges and audience members.

All proceeds , along with donations, help youngsters throughout the area.

“It is really important the young people in our area have a place to go, and spend time and have a safe place to learn constructive skills.  Boys and Girls Club of North Mississippi serves a lot of kids, get your wallet out when you have a chance, next time, cut them a check, help them out because it all helps our community when everybody grows up with every opportunity,” says Celebrity Chef, Wesley Jones.

In the past, the event has raised as much as 13-thousand dollars.
