Video: Salvation Army Recognizes Bell Ringers

COLUMBUS,  Miss. (WCBI) – It won’t be long before we hear the familiar sound of the Salvation Army bell ringers outside stores in our area.

The organization’s annual Red Kettle Campaign raises money to help needy individuals and families. And they couldn’t do it without volunteers.

Wednesday morning, the charity recognized last year’s top three bell ringing groups.

Fairview Baptist Church, Pines Recovery Center, and the Rotary Club of Columbus raised more than $13,000.]

The 2016 Red Kettle Campaign kicks off the Friday after Thanksgiving and runs thru Christmas Eve.
