Two Arrested In Oxford On Shoplifting Charges

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – Two are arrested in Oxford over the weekend for shoplifting.

41-year-old Tamara Stewart and 42-year-old Demitrius Conner, both of Clarksdale, are arrested Sunday on charges of shoplifting.

Oxford Police got a call from Walmart’s Loss Prevention that Stewart and Conner were inside taking items off of shelved and putting them in garbage cans throughout the store.

Officers were waiting outside the store when the two suspects left with the stolen items.

Stewart and Conner both had bonds set at $2,500 dollars.
