Video: EMCC Honors Military Service

MAYHEW, Miss. (WCBI) – There’s an event today in the Golden Triangle to remember and pay tribute to the men and women of our armed forces.

EMCC hosted a free event called “Proud to Be an American Day” in Mayhew. It was to honor all men and women who have served in the U.S. Military. There was a special focus on remembering World War II.

Dr. Mark Gordon Hazard was the guest speaker. He’s a World War II veteran and an author.
