Video: Columbus Police Make Shooting Arrest

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus police make an arrest in a late October shooting.

Christopher Rice, 26, is charged with aggravated assault.

The Columbus man was arrested Monday.

His bond is set at $500,000.

Columbus police say the shooting happened on October 20th, near the intersection of Waterworks Road and 7th Avenue North.

Very little information about the incident has been released from investigators.

We know a man was shot in the chest and taken to a Jackson hospital.

His condition is not known.
