VIDEO: Starkville Native Crowned Miss. University At Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI)- Leah Gibson won the title Wednesday night during the scholarship pageant at the Ford Center on campus.

Gibson beat out six other contestants for the title, competing in four categories: evening gown, swimsuit, talent, and interview.

The senior journalism major graduated from Starkville High School in 2013.

Gibson will represent Ole Miss in the Miss Mississippi pageant in June 2017.
