Pair In Oxford Jailed For Defrauding Elderly Victim
OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – A pair in Oxford are accused of defrauding an elderly victim.
42-year-old Rebecca Pryor and 24-year-old Deandre Fondren were arrested by Oxford Police.
On October 12th, an elderly male called the Oxford Police Department to report that his credit card had been used to buy some tires at a local tire shop at the end of August.
The purchase was nearly $500 dollars.
After some investigating, police discovered that Pryor, who was acting as the victim’s caretaker, and Fondren were responsible for that purchase.
The tires were put on Fondren’s vehicle.
Both were arrested and both were given bonds of $2,500 dollars.
