VIDEO: Shooting For A Cure

GREENWOOD SPRINGS, Miss. (WCBI)- October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and fundraisers for the disease are plentiful. One Monroe County Group put a little bang in its battle against breast cancer.

It’s called Shoot For The Cure and that’s exactly what is taking place.

Ground Zero tactical and Training in Greenwood Springs opened its range today for the benefit shoot.

Participants got in a little target practice while putting some money towards the search for a cancer cure.

“We want to be able to do something for the community. Our shooting range here is in this community, and the shooting community as a whole is very tight net, and it’s a good way to spread the word for breast cancer awareness. Cancer awareness as a whole,” says Owner Phillip Taylor
