Log Truck Crash Shuts Down Highway

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A log truck nearly goes off a Calhoun County bridge early Friday morning.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says two log trucks sideswiped each other on a Highway 8 bridge, just south of Calhoun City.

One of the big rigs hit the concrete barrier and was partially off the bridge.

The highway was shutdown for several hours, as several crews cleared the scene, but is open now.

No one was injured.
