Video: Body Found in Eupora

EUPORA, Miss. (WCBI) -A startling discovery Wednesday in Webster County; an area resident found the body of an unidentified man.

The body was discovered in Eupora, near a driveway on Veterans Memorial Boulevard, just off Highway 82.

Investigators say it’s possible the man was there for at least two days. Eupora Police Chief Greg Hunter says his department was called about 10:30.

“We responded and at this time we discovered an adult male who had expired and at this time he is unidentified and at this point we have called MBI, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation to come in and conduct an investigation.”

Hunter says the body is now in Jackson at the crime lab for an autopsy.
