Video: Starkville Video Shoot Will Be Used to Help Train Birmingham Police

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -The Starkville Police Department spends the day helping fellow officers from Birmingham for an upcoming promotion piece.

S.P.D.  role played scenarios they experience every day on the job. Video was shot and will be used in Jefferson County’s future tests and training.

“We are quite honored as a department to have been asked to participate and to assist them, to help them, do this. You know, it speaks volumes for the level of professionalism in our department”

“It’s just to give them a little exposure to something different and kind of, as I said, help them, you know, teach other departments how we actually do testing and some of our training.”

The clips will only be used internally by Birmingham police.
