Saturday Night Fight Lands one in Jail and one in the Hospital

On October 8^th at approximately 10:16 p.m., a Columbus Police officer was on foot patrol at 15^th Street North and 7^th Avenue North.  A verbal disturbance occurred between two males which led officers to ask both to leave the area.  As the two males walked away, 45yoa Frederick Pate sliced a 47yoa male victim in the face with a knife.   The 47yoa victim was sent to Baptist Memorial Hospital by ambulance and Pate was arrested at the 1400 block of 8^th Avenue North.  Pate was charged with Aggravated Assault and his bond was set at $20,000 by Municipal Court Judge Gary Goodwin.
