Fatal Motorcycle Crash

PONTOTOC, Miss (WCBI)- The Mississippi Highway Patrol continues to investigate a Sunday morning crash that claimed the life of a Pontotoc man.

Troopers responded to MS 41 and Pontocola Road around ten Sunday morning.

Authorities say it appears the driver of a 1999 Chevrolet attempted to make a left turn onto Pontocola road when she pulled into the path of a motorcycle.

The motorcycle was  driven by 72-year-old Thomas Ochello, Jr, of Pontotoc.

The driver of the Chevrolet was not injured.

Ochello died on the scene.
