Video: Woman Injured In Columbus Shooting

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus police say a woman was shot in the leg by a relative on Thursday evening.

The shooting happened about 5 PM in the 1,500 block of 23rd Street North.

A CPD spokesman says the victim’s injury doesn’t appear to be life threatening.

The suspected gunman left the scene.

Investigators believe an argument between the two led to the gunfire.
