Health Fair Helps Bring Fun to Prairie

PRAIRIE, Miss. (WCBI) — Being healthy was fun today in prairie.

The Eighth Annual Prairie Fun Day and Health Fair brought out people from around the area.

The event was held at the Prairie Community Center and was sponsored by the Prairie Rural Community Development Club.

Event Coordinator Dorothy Smith says it’s a way to help improve the community.

“The RCDC is a service organization and we’re just here to try and help improve our community,” said Event Coordinator Dorothy Smith.

The R-C-D-C is also in partnership with the MSU County Extension Office for Monroe County.
