Monday Night Wreck Kills One

SMITHVILLE (WCBI) –  A Smithville man is dead following a Monday night accident.

Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley says 23 year old Jeffrey Allen Holiday died when his van left Smithville Road and hit a tree.  Rescue teams from Smithville and Hatley Fire Departments worked to free Holiday but Gurley says Holiday was pronounced dead on the scene
