Video: Noxubee Refuge to Begin Charging User Fee in September

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -Starting September first, A day at Noxubee Refuge will cost you .

Entrance passes will be required for all visitors 16 and older. Daily passes are five dollars. An annual pass is twenty-five  dollars.

You can buy a pass at the Visitor Center at the Sam D. Hamilton Noxubee Refuge.Annual passes and hunting permits can also be purchased on line.

The fees will help staff improve trails, roads, and boat ramps, along with maintaining rest areas and signage.
