Video: Oktibbeha County Humane Society Hosting Adoption Drive

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – If you’re looking for a special pet, Starkville may be the place to go. The Oktibbeha County Humane Society is hosting its first “Empty the Shelter” adoption drive this weekend.

Spring and Summer are busy seasons at the Humane Society, and they are currently running at peak capacity.

To increase the number of “happy tails”, they are reducing the adoption fee to $19.99 Friday and Saturday June 5th and 6th. They are also extending shelter hours to 8 PM both nights.

The Starkville Animal Shelter is located at 5-10 Industrial Road. All of the animals have been immunized, spayed/neutered, and micro-chipped. To view the animals up for adoption go to www.ochsms.org
