Video: SOCSD Superintendent Guilty Of Simple Assault

STARKVILLE (WCBI) – Lewis  Holloway, the Superintendent of the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School Districts is found guilty this morning of two counts of simple assault.

Judge Marty Haug made the ruling in Justice Court.
Holloway must pay a fine, plus court costs.  He is also sentence to anger management classes.
The case stems from an incident in August 2015.
Those charges were filed after an alleged argument with his neighbor, where Oktibbeha County deputies say Holloway shot a gun in the air during a disturbance.

WCBI has asked for comment from the SOCSD and the School Board about any action they may be considering against Holloway in the wake of the convictions,
