Video: Tupelo Football Team Surprised with New Uniforms

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Nothing like some new threads to kickoff of the new season.

Head coach Trent Hammond and the Tupelo coaching staff surprised their team prior to their Friday season opener versus Clarksdale with brand new, gold uniforms that resemble what the Miami Hurricanes wear on Saturday’s.

The video, sent to us by WTHS News, shows the team ecstatic over the new uniforms that helped propel the Golden Wave to a 20-6 win over Clarksdale last Friday.
