Calhoun County Drug Bust

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-

Calhoun County deputies seize nearly 120 marijuana plants. Now, a man is facing some serious drug charges.

47 year-old William Taylor is charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says deputies made the bust Friday on County Road 165 in the Banner community.

Pollan says he’s extremely proud of the work deputies put into the investigation.

Taylor remains in jail.
