Video: Preparations Begin for Tales from the Crypt
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The performance may not happen until next spring, but Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science students are already preparing for Tales from the Crypt.
41 juniors will be participating in the 27th annual event at Friendship Cemetery.
On Wednesday, participating MSMS students chose which historical figures they’d like to portray. Now the research begins.
Some of them tell WCBI they’re looking forward to getting to work.
“I’m very excited about this project,” said student Rachel Brady. “I’ve lived in Columbus for about 13 years, and I’ve seen this project. I saw the performances last year, and I’m very excited to be a part of this. It’s a very important part to me for my MSMS experience.”
The students will perform Tales from the Crypt during the Columbus Spring Pilgrimage in April.
