Starkville Police Collecting Supplies For Flood Victims
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville Police and animal control officers are sending relief supplies to Louisiana flood victims and their animals, and they need the public’s help.
The two departments are collecting household and personal care items for families.
They need donations of items like paper towels, garbage bags, and batteries. They’re also accepting baby needs, bedding, and new clothing items.
For animals, you can donate food buckets and bowls and gallon jugs of water.
Officers will take the items to Louisiana this weekend.
You can take donations to the following locations: Starkville Police Department, Oktibbeha County Humane Society, Ricks Café, Spruill Property Management, Smith Animal Hospital, and the Oktibbeha County Co-Op.
