Winona Park Makes Dedication to Former Coach

WINONA, Miss. (WCBI)-

A well known coach in Winona had a park dedicated in his honor this morning.

Percy Legg was a well-known coach in the area of Winona and the city decided to recognize him by dedicating a park after him.

The city also had an unveiling ceremony of a monument in Legg’s honor.

They paved the walkway into the park and and named it Percy Legg Lane.

Legg’s wife, daughter, and sister were present for the ceremony.
