Video: Tupelo Elvis Fan Club Presents ‘Ace’ Fans With Free Tickets

FULTON, MISS. (WCBI) –  Two residents of an assisted living community will enjoy a night of music, thanks to an anonymous donor and the Tupelo Elvis Fan Club.

Legendary saxophonist “Ace” Cannon will play a show in Tupelo this Saturday night.

Cannon is being brought to the area by the Tupelo Elvis Fan Club. When administrators at Fulton’s Courtyards Nursing Home heard about the Cannon concert, they knew Carolyn Lackey and Eardene Sartin would love to go.

An anonymous donor gave the ladies two tickets each for the big show. The concert is a fundraiser for the Tupelo Elvis fan club.

“All of the funds we raise are given back to the community, we are non profit organization and we give away between 50 000 and 60 000 dollars per year, we have scholarships to high school seniors, Regional Rehab, St Jude, Tupelo Aquatic Center and other organizations including the Boys and Girls Club,” said Keith Henley, president of the Tupelo Elvis Fan Club.

The Ace Cannon concert takes place Saturday at 6:30 at Shelton Hall at Saint James Catholic Church in Tupelo.  For more information, go to www.tupeloelvisfanclub.com
