Video: Aberdeen Students’ Artwork on Display

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Over a dozen young painters got the chance to show their talent in an art show Thursday.

The paintings were created by the students in the artistic gifted program in Aberdeen High School.

Each year, the art display is held at the Elkin Theatre.

Proogram instructor Valerie Brahan says the students study different artists throughout the school year, and then paint or draw what they learned.

The exhibit has been put together for the students and by the students since 1984
