CALHOUN CITY, Miss. (WCBI) — A judge denies bond for a Derma man charged with first degree murder in a Calhoun City slaying.
Sheriff Greg Pollan says 46-year-old Randy Anderson was formally charged with first-degree murder and made his initial appearance today in Calhoun County Justice Court.
Investigators say Anderson was picked up Saturday evening and admitted Sunday to the beating and stabbing death of 42-year-old Randy Duff. He was found by a neighbor lying on the floor of his West Taylor Avenue home Friday afternoon.
Detectives say Anderson was made because Duff said he didn’t have any drugs.
