Video: Starkville Elementary Students Learning Spanish

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- A semester-long cultural lesson wraps up for some Starkville first graders.

Lauren Stegall’s class at Sudduth Elementary School has been learning to speak Spanish. Students in a Spanish class at Mississippi State have been their teachers.

The special project included class room visits from their college friends and daily instructional videos.

The project is sponsored by MSU’s Center For The Advancement of Service Learning Excellence.
