Video: Miss Mississippi Speaks to New Hope Students

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus native and Miss Mississippi 2014 Jasmine Murray is back at home spreading her platform message.

Murray spoke to students at New Hope Middle School Monday about embracing youth and not making adult decisions.

She takes her “13 Going on 30” program to schools and youth groups across the state.

Murray has also teamed up with Mississippi Public Broadcasting to increase graduation rates. She is touring Mississippi high schools to promote the American Graduate initiative.
