ESPN Settles Suit With Former MSU Mascot
ABERDEEN (WCBI) – A former Mississippi State mascot and sports broadcaster E-S-P-N have reached a settlement in a federal lawsuit.
Michaela Morris was dressed as the Bully Mascot when she was run over by a cart carrying a sideline camera during the 2013 Egg Bowl. Mills suffered a broken leg in the mishap and sued E-S-P-N and the university for damages stemming from the accident. Morris dropped the suit against M-S-U and now has reached a settlement with the sports broadcaster. Terms of the agreement reached Friday between Mills and E-S-P-N were not released. The original lawsuit was seeking $75,000
